We will start our Statistics topic by learning what the mean, median, mode and range of a set of numbers are.

Here are a couple of ideas to help us remember what they mean.

I can learn the mean real fast,

By averaging the numbers,

And the range is such a blast,

Just subtract least from greatest!

Mode’s the one that’s there the most,

Median’s in the middle,

I can use these terms just right,

And not get in a fiddle!
